We have been teaching people to surf in Nosara for more than 9 years. Our Costa Rican surf instructors are ISA certified surf coaches and are excited to teach you to surf in a safe and fun way.
We realize all of you are unique in your ability, size, shape, age and what you want to learn, so we personalize the lessons to fit your needs.
The secret to our success is personal attention and one on one teaching. We break down each skill of surfing and teach you step by step with constant feedback so you can learn faster and safer. We also want you to learn about the waves, the equipment, and how to surf with your fellow surfers.

Customized Lesson Plans - We ask you questions about your experience, abilities, and goals to determine your lessons. Our students range from 5-70 yrs old and we have fun lesson plans for everyone. We are great with Kids!!!
Great Service - We want to make this fun for you not work or pain. We give you a ride to the beach, water, shade, and a surf shirt to keep you from getting a rash.
Video Instruction - For those of you interested in speeding up the learning curve we offer video analysis to pin point the skills you need to improve.

The Big Kahuna Package - $200 Adults
The Grommit Package - $150 Kids under 15
This package is for surfers that are here for a week and want to progress to level 2 surfing and also do some other activities while in town. You can do a lesson almost everyday but have some time to relax and recover. This package includes:
- 5 Surf lessons with surfboard
- ISA surf coach- daily evaluation & feedback
- Customized Lesson Plans- based on progress
- Water, Fruit, Shade on the Beach
- Coconut Harry Surf School T shirt
- Video instruction- extra $20 per- includes take home movie

The King Kamehameha Package -$375 Adults
The Little King Package - $275 Kids under 15
This package is for the hardcore person that came to learn to surf and everything else is secondary. You will most likely be doing two lessons per day if you are here for only a week. You will achieve level 2 status after this course and have a good grasp of all the fundamentals of surfing. This program includes:
- 10 Surf lessons with surfboard
- ISA surf coach- daily evaluation & feedback
- Customized Lesson Plans- based on progress
- Water, Fruit, Shade on the Beach
- Coconut Harry Surf School T shirt
