I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself to all of the Coconut Harry patrons and future patrons. I'm Steve Reyer the proud new owner of Coconut Harry’s surf shop. Let me answer some of the most popular questions people ask after hearing the news.

What is Harry doing?

Harry is following his motto and slogan, “Surfing more and Working Less”. Harry is still living and surfing in Playa Nosara and will remain involved in the shop as the ambassador and consultant.

Are you changing the name and the shop? 

No and No, Coconut Harry’s is a great name and the shop is running business as usual.

Is my board in storage still there?

Yes, your boards that are in long term storage are safe and waiting for you to get here to put them to good use. Send me an e-mail a few days before coming down and we'll be ready for you.

Unfortunately, I learned that you could not surf and fish your whole life. You had to do this other activity called work in order to support yourself. To make a long story short, I worked for Corporate America for 20 plus years in sales and sales management. The last company I worked for merged with another large company and I decided it was time to make a change. I have officially made the move from Corporate America to Surf Central America. Life is good….

What does the future hold for Coconut Harry’s surf shop?

Fun, fun, and more fun!! My main focus for the shop is to provide you with everything you need to enjoy your surf vacation in Playa Nosara.  Along with all the surfing equipment, accessories, souvenirs, adventure tours, surf lessons, the most important of all is friendly service. I and my employees are going to continue in the Coconut Harry spirit to ensure you have a Pura Vida experience in Costa Rica. Muchas Gracias!!
